Come and meet us at the prestigious Budleigh Salterton Literary Festival – celebrating books by the sea 20th-24th September 2023 where we have a dedicated stand in the festival tent. We’d love to meet you and chat about the legacy of late Dame Hilary Mantel and our upcoming weekend in June 2024, honouring her literary legacy.

Dame Hilary, a long-time resident of Budleigh Salterton was the president of the Budleigh Festival and she was also a frequent visitor at Cadhay House – a Tudor mansion just a stone’s throw away in Ottery St Mary – where our tribute to Hilary weekend will be held next year.

The Wolf Hall Weekend will feature a star-studded lineup of Hilary’s friends and colleagues, as well as literary and historical experts – not to mention the wonderful entertainment and gourmet food we will enjoy together.
