
Tracy Borman OBE is a best-selling author, British historian, broadcaster, and Professor and Chancellor of Bishop Grosseteste University, Lincoln. In 2024, she was awarded an OBE for her services to heritage. She is Chief Executive of the Heritage Education Trust, a charity that encourages children to visit and learn from historic properties, and Chief Historian for Historic Royal Palaces, the charity that manages Hampton Court Palace, the Tower of London, Kensington Palace, Kew Palace, Hillsborough Castle and the Banqueting House, Whitehall.
Tracy has regularly appeared on television and radio as both a presenter and panel member. Her TV credits include Inside the Tower of London, Britain’s Easter Story, University Challenge and Henry VIII and the Men Who Made Him. In addition, she also gives public talks and lectures on a wide range of subjects.
Tracy is the bestselling author of a number of books, including a highly acclaimed biography of Thomas Cromwell and a sequence of novels set in Jacobean England.
